The Trans Asia's landscaped gardens, intimate rooms,
and views of the Beira lake has more the feel of an outstation
resort than of a city hotel, despite being located a stone's
throw from Colombo's commercial centre.
Managed by GHM, its 354 rooms are spread over 7 floors, including
two executive floors with private lounge and bar. Convention
halls include 88 sq.m. Earls Court VIP and the 550 sq.m. King's
Court that can accommodate over 500 people.
Guest rooms are air conditioned, with communication facilities
and safety deposit boxes available to all convention participants.
The hotel also includes a business centre, a travel desk, a
shopping arcade, hair salon, in-house doctor, car rental and
a baby sitter service. Recreation activities are aplenty from
a herbal massage and a sauna to Karate and Tennis.
